Volunteer and professional leadership for Destination ImagiNation includes many of the talented and dedicated people, who pioneered creative problem solving for 18 years as OM Association, Inc. Destination ImagiNation, Inc. is headquartered in Glassboro, NJ, and is the largest creative problem solving organization in the world. It remains true to its charitab le mission of developing the youth of the world.
Our volunteers, staff, and participants engage each other in a culture of creativity, teamwork, and respect. Through our excitement for our participants, we foster an environment that encourages high participant development as well as output. Through our programs, we encourage participants and their mentors to enhance their creativity, to consider alternative perspectives, and to identify and solve real problems. Through our development, we strive to provide people with resources and opportunities to learn and grow together in their thoughts and actions as they work. Through our events, we will provide recognition and reward to those who achieve a level of excellence in support of the organization's mission.
We define our relevant communities to include those who directly share in our programmatic life (participants, volunteers, organizations, and staff) and those who support us (sponsors and contributors). Through partnership with our communities, we build and enhance the vibrant programs for which we are known. Within this larger focus, we provide each community with the products and services they need and, in turn, solicit their support of our mission.
Our operational activities are directed toward delighting all who participate in or conduct our programs. Therefore, we continually assess our performance in delivering customer delight, and implement continuous improvement processes in all we do. We utilize effective technology for information exchange and program delivery, and we ensure that all who conduct our programs have easy access to all materials and support for delivering the best quality experience to participants.
