Wes Allen is an education law attorney with Blankingship & Keith in Northern Virginia. Wes’s current practice melds his prior experience as a civil defense litigator and his passion for education. Wes’s professional background also includes working in higher education administration, where he served as a university advancement corporate and foundation relations officer at the very educational institution where DI was formed.
As an education law attorney, Wes advises and defends school districts in a variety of legal matters and provides guidance to school boards to foster their understanding of the legal implications of their school districts’ activities. Wes holds degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the College of William & Mary, where he also earned his law degree. Wes additionally holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
As a proud DI alumnus, who has competed in three Global Finals, Wes is currently serving in his first term as a Board member.
