Destination Imagination (DI) is now accepting exhibitor applications for the Global Finals 2016 Innovation Expo. Held on May 25-27 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, the Innovation Expo is a celebration of creativity, innovation and education for all ages. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to engage with more than 17,000 students, teachers, STEM industry experts, parents and additional attendees through a featured exhibit space.
"Our Innovation Expo is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for companies to engage with students around the globe who are excited for the world of engineering, arts, technology, renewable energy and astronomical research," said Dr. Chuck Cadle, CEO of Destination Imagination. "We encourage businesses and organizations to develop an exhibit space with interactive elements, such as featuring a spokesperson or providing hands-on experiences, to further inspire the imaginations of our students."
At the Global Finals Innovation Expo, businesses and organizations are granted a space to display their latest products, services and interactive technology. From space exploration simulators to 3-D printing to educational toys and games, a whole gamut of industries will be represented at the Expo throughout the event. The 2015 Innovation Expo exhibitors included NASA, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Microsoft, National Geographic, Scholastic and 3M.
Global Finals is the world's largest celebration of student creativity, with more than 1,400 of the top-tiered Destination Imagination teams showcasing their innovative solutions over the four-day event.
