At this time of year, some of our international teams are stepping onto tournament floors, sharing their ideas, and presenting the solutions they’ve worked so hard to create. At the same time, many of our U.S. teams are still deep in the process—meeting, building, testing, rethinking, and discovering what their solutions might become as they head toward tournaments later in the season.
Wherever your team is right now—days from your tournament, in the workshop, still shaping ideas, or wrapping up a season that’s come to a close—we want to take a moment to congratulate you. Every team’s journey looks different, and the creativity, teamwork, and persistence it takes to see a season through matters, no matter the outcome.
As we head into the holiday season and new year, the DI headquarters team will be taking a short winter break. Our office will be closed from December 25 through January 1, reopening on January 2. This time allows our staff to step back, rest, and return ready for the busy months ahead.
Thank you to the volunteers, parents, Affiliate and Regional Directors, donors, and supporters who make DI possible around the world. We’re grateful for the time and energy you give, and for the many ways you show up for teams and students. We look forward to continuing the journey together in the new year.
