Maybe your team struggled to listen to one another at first but became incredible collaborators. Maybe you took an idea everyone thought was a little ridiculous and figured out how to make it work. Maybe you met someone from another city or country at a DI tournament and, years later, you’re still friends.
Maybe you’re an alum who still uses the creativity, problem-solving, and risk-taking you practiced in DI in the work you do today. Maybe you’re a parent who watched your child find their voice and gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. Maybe you’re a Team Manager who discovered just how hard—and rewarding—it can be to step back and let kids lead. Or maybe you’re a volunteer who comes back year after year because DI impacted you, too.
