In the Challenge, Section I.D.8 should read, “At the end of the Presentation, one or two team members will meet with the Testing Appraiser. The Testing Appraiser will check each Mystery Weight to ensure that it is not damaged, modified, or opened. (See Section I.C.7.) Then the Testing Appraiser will verify your team’s estimate for each Mystery Weight. Finally, the Testing Appraiser will verify the actual weight of the Mystery Weights. A scale will be available near the Presentation Area. The Testing Appraiser will instruct the team to place each Mystery Weight on the scale one at a time. Once the scale reading stabilizes, the Testing Appraiser will record the official Mystery Weight weight to the nearest gram.”
