Early Bird Team Numbers for the 2026–27 Destination Imagination Challenge Experience open on May 15.
Teams that purchase during Early Bird can get their Team Number for $165—the same price as the 2025-26 season. Early Bird runs through July 14, with the price increasing to $175 on July 15.
A quick reminder: While the 2025-26 season is wrapping up, 2025-26 Team Numbers are still available through May 1, 2026 (11:59 PM ET) for classroom or group use.

- To qualify for volume discounts, all Team Numbers must be purchased on the same line item in the same order.
- Discounts are automatically applied during checkout.
- Volume discounts may not be applied after an order is placed and paid for (including purchase orders).
- Orders may not be combined after they have been placed and paid for in order to qualify for volume discounts.
- Discounts do not apply to Affiliate Fees* added to each Team Number.

The Destination Imagination Challenge Experience is delivered through local Affiliate organizations around the world. These teams of staff and volunteers support your experience and make it possible for teams to participate locally. As you plan your season, here are a few additional costs to keep in mind:
- AFFILIATE FEES*: Affiliate Fees vary by location and are determined by your local Affiliate. These fees may be included with your Team Number purchase or collected separately. Affiliates may also charge tournament registration fees. Click here to find your Affiliate and view posted fees.
- Team Expenses: Teams are responsible for the materials used to develop and present their solution. While each Challenge has a budget limit, what teams spend can vary depending on their ideas, materials, and approach.
- Global Finals: Teams that advance to Global Finals have the option to attend and celebrate their work on a global stage. For 2026, the registration fee is $5,500 per U.S. team and $5,000 per non-U.S. team. We recognize that this can be a significant investment, and we are committed to making the experience as accessible as possible for teams around the world.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Team Number(s) are not eligible for refunds or cancellations. Purchase of a Team Number gives the purchaser digital access to exclusive content and intellectual property of Destination Imagination, Inc., which cannot be undone or returned once accessed.
